Paul & Ruth Whitehead
Church Leaders
Paul and Ruth, together with their four amazing children, have a big heart for the People of their Community. They have a vision to see lives transformed with God’s love.
Wherever possible they encourage growth, co-operation and leadership in all aspects of Church life, as well as being respected by and available for helping in, the Community.
They love to meet with and encourage Christians from other Churches, whenever possible, in order to extend the Kingdom of God and encourage Christian growth and witness in Northland.
OUR VISION
LOVE GOD. LOVE PEOPLE. LIVE FAITHFULLY. LEAD GENERATIONS.
At Excite Church, we are passionate about loving God wholeheartedly, loving people unconditionally, living out our faith daily, and raising up generations to know Jesus and fulfil His purpose for their lives. We believe God has called us to be a church that makes a lasting difference in our community and beyond, sharing the hope of the Gospel and building a legacy of faith for generations to come.
Whether you are exploring faith, new to church, or looking for a place to belong and grow, there is a place for you at Excite Church. We look forward to getting to know you!
EXCITE CHURCH WHENUA
OUR FUTURE, OUR LEGACY
We are excited to share a significant milestone in the journey of Excite Church — the purchase of our very own land! We believe this is more than a piece of whenua; it represents a foundation for the future and a place where generations will encounter the love of God.
Our heart is to create a place where people can find Jesus, families can flourish, lives can be transformed, and future generations can grow in faith. We are believing for great things as we step into all that God has planned for our church and our community.
This is only the beginning. We are building today for the generations of tomorrow!
